We knew the quirks of the building, the rhythm of events, and the potential tucked into every beam and window. But we never imagined we’d be the ones to take it on—not like this.

A Baby, a Big Decision, and Almost No Money

When the lease opportunity came up, our daughter was just a few months old. We were sleep-deprived, juggling diapers and spreadsheets, and staring down a decision that felt both thrilling and terrifying.

We didn’t have deep pockets. We didn’t have a polished business plan. What we had was heart—and a community that believed in us.
